I am currently a Junior at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. I am pursuing my Bachelors of Science in Laboratory Animal Science (Pre-veterinary track). Apart from my course work and student employment, I am a student intern working with some of my professors in the School of Agriculture's Laboratory Animal Resource Unit. I am also an intern working at the downtown greensboro veterinary hospital with Dr. John Wehe. I am also a member of the National Honors Society, Alpha Lambda Delta.

NC A&T State University (Emmanuelle Willis) Greensboro, NC | Aug 2014 – May 2015

Resident Assistant

Student leader within my building (Holland Hall), created programs and community builders to execute educational, social, and inspirational programs, posters, and bulletin boards. Worked on a staff with six other women to promote diversity, and to establish relationships with each resident.

 

Cedar Fairs (Kyle Bartzen), Sandusky, OH | May 2013 - Aug 2013

Food Host

Cashier, prepare and cook food, perform open and close cleaning procedures,

supervise when needed, measure and record various food temperatures and

conditions of work location.

Dr. Steve Hurley, NCA&T State Greensboro, NC | Sept 2014-October 2014

LARU Student Intern

Assisted Dr. Hurley and Mr. Ted with the research animals in the Laboratory Animal Resource Unit. This included culling specimens, replenishing feed and water, disposing of deceased specimens, and making complete changes of cages which meant to prepare new clean cages for the animals. Recorded room temperature, room humidity and all procedures completed in the room.

Foster Program

Cleveland Animal Protective League (Foster Program). House and take care of

animals in need of homes after surgeries, those with contagious diseases, animals

that need medication or a safe home to live in.

William Patrick Day Early Childhood Center. Supervised children with physical and/

or mental disabilities. Helped the teacher serve food, put children down for naps,
